On May 31, the Night of Agencies event series was held once again, and we were delighted to join!
Feverish preparations, exciting discussions, and fine wines on the terrace. At first glance, these three thoughts could summarize best and most quickly how this year's Night of Agencies unfolded.
Weeks before the event, we dived into the planning process we tried to spice up the last day of spring with numerous special program points, from scheduling to arranging snacks which was a pretty good task!
On the afternoon of May 31, around 4 PM, the moment of truth arrived, and we opened our doors. The office foyer quickly filled with life, delicious vegan bites and refreshing drinks, and the noise from various meetings and setup activities was replaced by the buzz of informal conversations.
After the initial meet-and-greet, there was no time to waste, and the presentations and workshops started. The plural is intentional, as the programs took place simultaneously in different areas of our headquarter.
During the "Progress or Get Left Behind" podium discussion moderated by Solya Szabó, business unit director at Progressive, Dr. Melinda Szilágyi (head of marketing, Allee), Botond Kováts (marketing manager, OMV), and Edina Tóber (head of marketing, Reál) discussed what will define success in the future. Meanwhile, our 3D animator, Ádám Lakatos, brought Bruno, the protagonist of Sunnywood Farms to life, right before our eyes, and also provided insights into the operation of the coolest AI software.
During the following hour, an exciting exchange of opinions began: our agency's creative director, Dr. Bence Buzási, together with one of Progressive's entry-level employees, Sára Gere, and the HR and communications manager of Vajda Papír Kft., Balázs Tóth, discussed how companies can become attractive to young people and how the job market has radically changed recently.
Meanwhile, Joci Jenei, the leader of our content team, held an interactive workshop titled Equilibrium, on the brand experience present in content production and the relationship with users.
It's no exaggeration to claim that the main protagonist of the evening's later part was Gen Z expert Tamás Trunk, the main organizer of Sneakerness. He first discussed intergenerational communication with our group account director, Zoltán Kovács, and participated in the closing block, a roundtable discussion titled "Four Hands" with Ádám Szinai (marketing and communications director, CIB Bank), Róbert Muhoray (organizational development consultant, Muhoray Consulting), and Dániel Lennert (senior consultant, Noguchi).
After the programs, the event transitioned to its most relaxed phase - the direct conversations, or 'spritzing,' as some would call it.
We were delighted that many guests stayed after the official program, providing an excellent opportunity to establish new connections and showcase why Progressive is so special.
We would like to thank everyone who was with us, whether in person or through our online broadcast. We truly hope to meet you again next year!
